  • Are sessions covered by insurance?
    While direct billing is not provided, many insurance providers cover the counselling therapy services. All insurance providers identify the specific coverage in their respective plans. It is important to confirm the details of your coverage. Sylvia is a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) and is certified with the Canadian Professional Counselling Association (CPCA) as a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC). ​ What does the MPCC actually mean?   • Can I book sessions online?
    Yes. Online bookings can be made two days prior to the desired date. Next or same day appointments can only be made by calling directly on the phone number provided.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Our cancellation policy takes effect 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment at which time clients receive an email reminder of the upcoming session. This permits other clients to book a session or to schedule clients that may be on a waitlist. A late cancellation fee of one-half of the rate of the session booked may be assessed.
  • Are invoices provided?
    Yes. Invoices are emailed at the time of payment and will include any applicable designations for insurance purposes.
